Obithos Spit (in Ukrainian Obitichna Spit) is a sand spit on the northern shore of the Azov Sea. It goes into the sea for 30 km between the Bay of Bay and Berdyansk. It is composed of sands and shell rock. Formed by sediment of the Obitochnaya River. Borders Bay Obitochny from the east. This low spit is covered with grass. The west bank of the spit is indented, several bays jut into it. Opposite the middle part of the western coast of the spit lies a group of reedy islands. The bottom is mostly shells or sand with a shell.
